Strength Pro Training Tip, Forehand Smash.



Strength Pro badminton rackets have been designed to increase strength and power within badminton specific muscles. The Strength Pro training racket can be used as a very effective training aid for all shots including overheads. 


Today we are focusing on the forehand overhead smash. There are numerous routines that can be done to develop your smash however we are going to focus on the most simple routine and exercise today. Providing your ability/strength and age are of an adequate level to perform a smash by using good technique the Strength Pro badminton racket will assist your quest for extra power. 


With coach or playing partner using a single shuttle feed simply lift the shuttle toward the rear of the court so that you are in a position to smash. Repeat this 8-10 times to complete one set. Alternate sets with your Strength Pro training racket and normal racket. Repeat the sets 3-4 times both sides of the court.


Important not to go beyond slight fatigue as you dont want to injure your arm by over swinging. Little and often is the key, repetition and quality of exercise far out weighs masses of time with poor quality and intensity.
